Ross began his career in the financial services industry in Vancouver, British Columbia with
MF Global Canada Co. Ross' initial focus was retail equities and derivatives, but moved on to include corporate currency risk management, partnering with one of the top risk managers in Canada. Always an innovator, Ross was the first broker in Canada to start trading SSF's (Single Stock Futures) on the
OneChicago exchange .
In 2004, Ross left MF Global Canada Co. to start his own IB (Introducing Broker) firm in Washington State with
MF Global Inc. In 2005, Ross became registered as a CTA (Commodity Trading Advisor) and quickly became one of the top ranked CTA's in the world according to
Barclay's Trading Group.
The
Canadian Securities Institute has awarded Ross the
Derivatives Market Specialist and
FCSI designations. Representing individual integrity and unrivalled professionalism, the designation of
Fellow of CSI (FCSI)® is reserved for financial services professionals who have met the most exacting standards for industry experience, advanced education,
